As we expand into new markets, we are looking for an experienced and culturally fluent Community Manager for the Korean market to build, grow, and manage our local presence.
Role Summary
As our Community Manager for Korea, you will be the voice and face of the company in Korean-speaking communities. You will foster a vibrant, loyal user base and act as the bridge between our Korean community and the global team.
Responsibilities
Community Growth & Engagement
Build and nurture our Korean-speaking community on platforms such as KakaoTalk, Naver Cafe, Twitter (X), Discord, and Telegram.
Design and execute community engagement campaigns, events, and content to grow active user participation.
Moderate and manage local community channels, respond to user inquiries, and surface key insights.
Localization & Culturalization
Translate and localize marketing materials, blog posts, newsletters, and announcements.
Adapt global campaigns and content to the Korean market in a culturally sensitive and compelling way.
Advocacy & Feedback Loop
Identify and empower local advocates, ambassadors, and content creators.
Gather feedback, suggestions, and sentiment from Korean users and relay it to product and marketing teams.
Partnership & Ecosystem Support
Collaborate with local projects, influencers, media, and event organizers to increase brand visibility.
Represent the company at online and offline events, meetups, and AMAs in Korea.
Requirements
Experience: 2+ years in community management, marketing, or growth roles in Web3, crypto, or tech startups. Proven experience managing Korean communities.
Language Skills: Native Korean and fluent English communication.
Cultural Fluency: Deep understanding of Korean crypto culture, platforms, memes, and influencers.
Tools Proficiency: Familiar with using Discord, Telegram, Notion, Twitter, and analytics tools.
Self-Starter: Comfortable working remotely and independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
Crypto-Native: Genuine interest and participation in Web3, NFTs, DeFi, or DAOs.
