Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Product Data Analyst, either located in Hong Kong or remote. The Product Data Analyst will be responsible for day-to-day data analysis and business development tasks, including data modeling, data analytics, statistical modeling, and communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Professional work experience in a hands-on analytics or data science function with proven quantitative orientation, manipulating large datasets for time series analysis, cohorts and segmentation
• Experience in data pipeline technologies and inventing new metrics, conducting root cause analysis, A/B testing and developing reporting/visualization solutions (e.g., Tableau)
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous business and product questions into quantitative problem statements, structure complex analysis, implement large scale analytical solutions and drive business and product insights.
• Advanced skills in SQL and Tableau a plus
• Passionate about storytelling via data, a Just Do It attitude and customer obsession

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Product Teams to create and track metrics across products
• Propose innovative solutions by exploratory data analysis from complex and high-dimensional datasets
• Optimize data structure to support data initiatives
• Manage analytics lifecycle from inception to delivery and potential ongoing maintenance
• Visualize the analysis into easy-to-consume storylines for stakeholders
• Provide business insights on what drives engagement and leverage learnings to inform future strategies
