Role & Responsibilities
Spartan Capital is the investment arm of the Spartan Group, the premier advisory and investment firm in crypto, founded by veterans in the traditional financial industry and thought leaders in the crypto space.

As one of the first fundamentals-driven crypto asset funds and DeFi-specific venture investors in the space, Spartan Capital is recognized as a leading voice in the burgeoning crypto industry since its founding in 2018.

We are seeking a dynamic Investor Relations Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of digital assets, and the intricacies of the crypto market. They should demonstrate exceptional client management abilities and proactive problem solving skills.

As an Investor Relations Analyst, your role will include:

  • Assist with the preparation of regular fund materials (e.g. pitchbook, factsheet) and due diligence documentation (e.g. DDQs)
  • Assist with investor inquiries, including the preparation of investor reporting packages, performance analysis and other relevant reports
  • Utilise and maintain CRM systems and databases for accurate and up-to-date investor records
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and legal, as well as external vendors to ensure investor needs are met in a timely and efficient manner
  • Coordinate and participate in investor meetings, conference calls and webinars

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
  • 2-3 years of work experience, preferably within the financial services industry, asset management or venture capital
  • Familiarity with securities regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices within the financial services industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Experience in building and maintaining client relationships, providing exceptional client service, and managing investor expectations
  • Basic understanding of investment strategies, financial markets, and alternative investments
  • Basic understanding of digital assets and the crypto market
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment
